Currently we are looking for a support operations manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa zone. The position is available in France / Northern Europe (Netherlands, Scotland) and the operations manager will work as part of the support team and report to the support manager.
OPERATIONS MANAGER EMEA
(Reference: M14-OPM-SAS)
Role responsibilities:
- Managing / leading 7 support engineers within the EMEA zone
- Mobilization decisions of equipment & personnel for demo/installation/on-site Interventions
- Management of demo pool equipment
- iXBlue and divisions representative in front of customers
- Representative of customer inside iXBlue
- Follow all support procedures and processes
- Open and follow-up on Hot-line, Hot-mail, actions and customer claims
- All equipment installations / demos / onsite support up to 110 days a year
- Assure support in the EMEA geographical zone and occasionally outside this zone
- Write and archive report after all missions in JIRA
Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical or Electronic
- 4 to 5 years of work experience in a management role
- Experience with Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), marine electronics or integration of sensors in Marine survey, dynamic positioning (DP), and/or metrology fields
- Strong customer orientated attitude and proactive nature
- Self-motivated, proactive, technically curious, working attitude and able to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (English & French)
- Strong analytical thinker, able to independently analyze and repair iXBlue equipment
- Must be willing to travel up to 110 days a year (local and overseas)
