  • Represent iXblue to customers in a professional manner.
  • Provide technical support to sales team in the APAC region, including pre-sale demonstration of iXblue products.
  • Provide on-site installation, training, harbor-acceptance tests and sea-acceptance test of iXblue products delivered to customers, onboard ships and other vehicular platforms.
  • Open and follow-through of 24/7 Support Hotline, Support email, and customer requests.
  • Undertake continuous internal as well as self-directed training on all iXblue products.
  • Analyzing and interpreting product data.
  • Estimated 30% of travel a year within the APAC region with some occasional travel to France.
  • Report directly to the Support Operations Manager – APAC.
  • Willing to be expatriated to Singapore for between 1-2 years.
  • Must have minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience as a service engineer.
  • Must have strong verbal and written English.
  • A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering.
  • Experience with Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), marine electronics or integration of sensors in marine survey environment will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates service-oriented attitude, providing successful product support for customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated and technically curious approach to their work.
  • Strong analytical, trouble-shooting and negotiating skills.
  • Able to think and work in a team and independently.

 

Technical training will be provided prior to starting work.
